Daniel Pengrapher, (1997)

Daniel “Pengrapher” Oshundaro (b. 1997) is a Nigerian figurative abstract artist whose practice reflects and engages how his individualistic beliefs, aspirations, and personality become attached to the work he creates.

His work represents the self-expression of thoughts and experiences from his environment by referencing classical compositions using a combination of colours, acrylic, lines, texture, and symbolism. Works of other artists inspire Pengrapher. “It challenges me as well as inspires me,” he said. “I’m also deeply inspired by art from the Renaissance period; the works from that era are beautiful as well as intense.”
