Myles Igwebuike

Myles Igwebuike is a Nigerian-American artist, spatial practitioner, and cultural strategist operating at the threshold of material intelligence and speculative archaeology. He holds a Master’s degree from the Royal College of Art in London. Currently teaching and researching at the Yale School of Architecture, Igwebuike’s research-led practice interrogates space and indigenous technological epistemologies treating them not merely as heritage, but as active methods for world-making, material innovation, and collective agency.

His work has been showcased internationally, notably in his curation of the Nigeria Pavilion at the London Design Biennale, which earned a Special Mention. Bridging creative expression with strategic governance, Igwebuike currently serves as an expert to the UK Design Council, a member of the Bureau of European Design Associations (BEDA) Expert Group.
