Carine Mansan (b. 1988) is an Ivorian-French visual artist whose figurative practice explores identity, colonial histories, religious syncretism, and cultural hybridisation. Her work draws on the complexities of cultural inheritance and belonging, reflecting on how personal and collective histories are carried, transformed, and reimagined.

Mansan trained in drawing and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Montreal and holds degrees in Interior Design from the University of Montreal and the École de Condé in Paris. Her work has been presented internationally, including at FNB Art Joburg, AKAA Paris, the National Museum of Yaoundé, and the Contemporary Museum of Adama Toungara in Abidjan. Her solo exhibitions include Assié at Case Bleue, Grand-Bassam (2018) and Monade at Artgang Gallery, Montréal (2015).
In 2022, Mansan received the Société Générale Discovery Young Talents Award. She has also participated in residencies at the Thami Mnyele Foundation, Amsterdam (2023) and Noldor Residency, Accra (2021). Recent exhibitions include presentations with Galerie Véronique Rieffel at AKAA Paris (2022, 2024), FNB Art Joburg with Logmo Makon Gallery (2025), and Memoria: récit d’une autre histoire at the National Museum of Yaoundé (2023). Mansan lives and works in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
